Frequently asked questions

What data does Zaptik access?

ServiceNow metadata only — assignment groups, catalog items, HR services, routing rules, and custom table schemas. Never ticket content, user PII, or attachment data.

Is Zaptik SOC 2 certified?

SOC 2 Type I is in progress, expected Q4 2026. Tenant isolation is enforced at the database layer today.

Can we self-host?

Not currently. SaaS-only. Self-hosted deployments are on the roadmap for Enterprise customers in 2027.

What ServiceNow versions are supported?

Any instance running ServiceNow Utah or later. We use the Table API and Aggregate API — both stable across all modern releases.

How long does setup take?

Under 5 minutes. Create an OAuth Application Registry entry in ServiceNow, paste the client ID and secret into the Zaptik dashboard, and the first crawl starts immediately.
