Built by someone who has seen the mess

I'm Kevin Hern — Engagement Manager at GlideFast Consulting, a ServiceNow partner based in Boston. I have four years of experience inside enterprise ServiceNow instances — implementations, upgrades, and the inevitable clean-up engagements after things break.

Every engagement looks the same: 400 assignment groups, 60% empty. Routing rules referencing teams that were renamed in 2021. Catalog items nobody owns but everyone depends on. A custom table with 50,000 records and no documentation. And somewhere, an upgrade coming that will break three things nobody can predict.

I built Zaptik because I wanted a tool that could tell me — quickly — what was actually routing in a customer's instance, what was drifting, and what was safe to touch. It didn't exist, so I built it alongside my full-time job.

Zaptik is a solo-founder project. It is not backed by a VC firm or a product team. Every line of code, every design decision, every architectural tradeoff was made by one person who uses this in the real world. That's a constraint and an advantage — I will never build something I don't understand or can't explain.
